Trevor Rabin: G-Force

Walt Disney Pictures has confirmed to Upcoming Film Scores that Trevor Rabin has replaced Harry Gregson-Williams as the score composer on G-Force, the Jerry Bruckheimer/Walt Disney Pictures action adventure which combines live-action with CG. The signing of Rabin to score G-Force co-incides with the assignment of Gregson-Williams to score the two studios' other big 2009 action project, Prince of Persia. Trevor Rabin has enjoyed great success scoring the two Disney/Bruckheimer National Treasure hit movies. G-Force, which will come out next summer, features the voices of Nicolas Cage, Penélope Cruz and Steve Buscemi.

I cant believe it, Trevor Rabin´s music is horrible !!!!
Am I the only who see it ???

No, but you don't write the music that has the Jerry Bruckheimer sound. (And neither does Alan Silvestri, what with his fondness of things like "themes," "melodies," "writing his own music," and so on.)

Horrible??? Are you on drugs? Rabin is AMAZING. See Remember the Titans score, and the piece he did for Deep Blue Sea. Deep blue Sea was a weak movie, but the score he made has been praised and used in many movie trailers. You don't know your scores friend..

Trevor is one of the best composers of movies scores as well as rock and roll. I hope to hear a lot more from him. You must have been in the sun too long Hector!

I'm personally offended that anyone would call Trevor's score work horrible. I have been a fan of his since the nid 80's and have enjoyed all his score work since departing from the rock world for a bit.
